Workgroup

Workgroup, usually divided by game titles or leagues.

Resources (workspaces/broadcasting rooms, panels, materials, data, fonts, members, etc.) between different workgroups are completely isolated.

Broadcast

Workspace

Workspace (online broadcasting room), used for event broadcasting, multiple workspaces can be used for parallel production of multiple events.

Operations between different workspaces are completely isolated.

Output

Output, usually used for workspace content output, a workspace can have multiple outputs, such as in-game, out-game, replay, different language sub feeds, etc.

The output content between different workflows is independent of each other, but they share the datasource in the same workspace(broadcasting room).

Playlist

Playlist, usually used for fixed process broadcasting, playlists can be set with transitions for continuous graphic broadcasting.

Graphics/Panel

Panels, also known as Graphics, are the smallest unit of broadcasting content. Usually our broadcasting content is composed of multiple panels.

Events

Composition Hierarchy

  1. Game Title: The specific esports game being played, e.g. League of Legends (LOL), VALORANT (VAL)

  2. League: The organized competitive league for the game, e.g. LPL (League of Legends Pro League), VCT CN (VALORANT Champions Tour China)

  3. Season: A specific competitive period within the league, e.g. VCT CN 2024 Stage 1, LPL Summer 2024

  4. Schedule: The specific match day or date within a season, e.g. a particular day of matches on a specific date

  5. BO (Best of): The number of games in a series that determines the winner. Common formats include: BO1, BO3 and BO5

  6. Game X(round number of BO): An individual game within the BO series, representing a single playthrough from the game server.

Metadata

  • Team: Teams attending the event
  • Player: Players of the team / Players attending the event
  • Coach: Coaches of the players or teams
  • Stage: According season is usually divided into stages, such as Group, Quarterfinal, Semifinal, Final, etc.
  • Section: The section of the according stage, e.g. Group A, Group B, etc.
  • City: Cities where the event is held
  • Group: Teams are grouped into groups to compete
  • Region: Regions of leagues
